Lisa Johnson, guest editor of issue 3.1, "Feminist Television Studies: The Case of HBO," recently published Third Wave Feminism and Television: Jane Puts It in a Box (I.B. Tauris/Palgrave, 2007). The seeds of the collection were planted with issue 3.1 where she first began developing her concept of third wave feminist media criticism. Two of the contributors to that issue—Janet McCabe and Kim Akass—became the editors of a new series at Tauris called "Reading Contemporary Television" and solicited the manuscript from Johnson because of their work together on that issue.

Issue 4.2, "Writing a Feminist's Life: The Legacy of Carolyn G. Heilbrun" was featured in the blog Feminist Law Professors.

Issue 3.2, "Jumpin' at the Sun: Reassessing the Life and Work of Zora Neale Hurston" was featured in the Ms. magazine blog, Ms. Musings.
