Past Conferences

Scholar & Feminist 1986 Program coverSince its inception, the Scholar & Feminist Conference has taken a bold, critical look at matters of sex, gender and sexuality, race and economics, politics and culture. Sometimes controversial, always ambitious, the conference provides not only a forum for cutting-edge feminist theories, but also a space for imagining how those theories might be used to effect progressive social change on a local, national and international scale. Here, to give you a sense of how these conversations have been shaped and changed over time, you'll find the complete conference programs for the first thirty conferences. You can browse the programs by year or search for speakers using the directory of participants. Scanned images of the original documents are available for downloading as PDFs.
