Anantha Sudhakar

Anantha Sudhakar is an Assistant Professor of Asian American Studies at San Francisco State University, where she teaches courses on Asian American literature and South Asian American history and culture. Her research focuses on the way diasporic cultural production shapes community formation, and has been published in the Asian American Literary ReviewSmall Axe and Asian American Culture: From Anime to Tiger Moms (Greenwood, 2016). In addition to her teaching and research, Sudhakar serves on the Academic Council for the South Asian American Digital Archive (SAADA), an online repository of documents related to South Asian American history and experience, and as an editor for Tides magazine.
