JWA's Women of Valor Posters Slideshow For more than 350 years, American Jewish women have been vitally involved in building communities across North America. They have actively explored and reshaped the contours of American and Jewish identity in their homes, in their cities and towns, and in the Jewish and American communities at large. The 18 Women of Valor depicted in these posters all challenged conventional expectations for women, even as their work changed our world.

JWA's Women of Valor posters put the faces of notable Jewish on the walls of our institutions, and the accompanying web exhibits provide an in-depth exploration of their contributions and achievements To order these posters, click here. For ideas of how to use these posters in schools, campuses, synagogues, community centers, and libraries, go to: www.jwa.org/teach/ideasfromfield.html and www.jwa.org/teach/ideasfromjwa.html.
