Prof. Cecilia Conrad, Barnard College - We are sorry that the panel on Lesbian Legal Empowerment has been cancelled. The date for The Scholar and the Feminist was set last August, long before the date for tomorrow’s march for gay, lesbian, and bisexual rights in Washington, DC was announced. Our panelists both found they needed to be in Washington in important support capacities for the march, as did a number of other potential panelists we approached. The Center for Research on Women regrets the scheduling conflict and wishes all the marchers success.
