Vanessa Bentley

Vanessa Bentley is a visiting assistant professor of philosophy at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has an MA in women’s, gender, and sexuality studies and a PhD in philosophy from the University of Cincinnati. She was previously employed as a research assistant in a neuroimaging laboratory at Carnegie Mellon University. Her research interests are in philosophy of neuroscience, bioethics, neuroethics, and feminist philosophy of science. Her research focuses on the neuroimaging of sex/gender differences and feminist practices in science.
