Paul Wirhun

Paul Wirhun, also known as the Eggman, creates painted and crafted sculptures out of eggshells using methods derived from the Ukranian art of pysanka. His work is deeply in tune with the original spiritual and generative properties of the art, and confronts issues of violence, birth, and sexuality. He has been featured in Time Out NYThe Village Voice, and the New York Times, and holds an MA in philosophy from the Catholic University of America.
