Olani Ewunnet

Olani Ewunnet is a multidisciplinary artist based in New York City. Working across drawing, sculpture, social practice, and installation, she bridges African artistic traditions and urban ecologies in pursuit of new coexistences. She holds an MA of design in urbanism, landscape, and ecology with distinction from Harvard University and a BA in urban and environmental policy from Occidental College. Her work has been presented at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, New York (2024); National Sawdust, New York (2023); University of California, Berkeley (2023); Oxford University (2022); SAVVY Contemporary, Berlin (2020); Goethe Institute at the Dhaka Art Summit, Bangladesh (2020); and BOZAR, Brussels (2019). Residencies include the Sitka Center for Art and Ecology (2024) and Prismid Sanctuary (2022), with fellowships from the Congress Bundestag Exchange Program (2018) and Davis Projects for Peace (2017).
