Nancy Schwartzman

Nancy Schwartzman is the director of “Between Us” a documentary-in-progress set in Jerusalem and New York. She is a founding editor and Creative Director of Heeb Magazine, responsible for the photo stories “Word to Your Bubbe,” “Jewess” and “The Passion.” She is the founder of NYC-safestreets.org a non-profit dedicated to linking businesses and creating maps in Brooklyn and Manhattan to help women travel safely. For five years she has been the grants officer for Media, Visual Arts and Performing Arts at the National Foundation for Jewish Culture. She is a graduate of Columbia University with a degree in Art History and a minor in Film. Currently she lives in New York City.
