Mariel Rodney

Mariel Rodney is an interdisciplinary scholar with research interests in American and African diasporic literature, performance, and culture. Her teaching profile spans literature of the Americas and the Caribbean, and examines histories of race, gender, sexuality. Rodney received her PhD in English and comparative literature at Columbia University. Her research has been supported by fellowships and grants from the Andrew Mellon Foundation and the Social Science Research Council.
