Marco Derks

Marco Derks is a theologian and scholar of religion, sexuality and gender. As a PhD Candidate at Utrecht University, the Netherlands, he is doing research on constructions of homosexuality and religion in contemporary public discourses in the Netherlands. He is former chair of the Dutch Society of Queer Theologians and co-chair of the Gay Men and Religion Unit of the American Academy of Religion. He has published articles in Biblical Interpretation and Theology & Sexuality. His website is marcoderks.wordpress.com.
