Joanne Leonard

Joanne Leonard is a professor in the School of Art and Design and in the women’s studies program at the University of Michigan. Her work has been widely exhibited recently at the International Center for Photography in New York as a part of “Eye the Beholder.” Her photographs and photo-collage works have been published in Gardner’s Art Through the AgesJanson’s History of ArtTime Life Library of Photography, Lucy Lippard’s From the Center and Domna Stanton’s Discourses of Sexuality, from Aristotle to AIDS. Her own writing appears in Modern Fiction Studies and
Michigan Feminist Studies.
