Helena Wacko

Helena Wacko is currently pursuing a MSc in Gender Research at the London School of Economics and Political Science with plans to continue to a PhD. Her research interests are twofold: reproductive justice and anti-gender foundations, as well as spatial practice and gendered urbanism. She holds a BA in History, Politics, and Economics from University College London and an MA in Global Thought from Columbia University, where she was a Fulbright Scholar. Additionally, at Columbia University, she pursued a certificate from the Institute for the Study of Sexuality and Gender. Outside of academia, Helena has been extensively engaged in feminist grassroots activism, specifically concerning public forms of gender-based violence in the United Kingdom. She is also part of the editorial team of the Norwegian feminist journal FETT.
