Devika Maulik

Devika Maulik, MD MSCR, is Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Fellowship Director for Maternal Fetal Medicine  at University of Missouri-Kansas City. She is a graduate of Wellesley College, where she majored in English literature. She received her medical degree from Cornell University in New York, completed her residency at Columbia University and UCLA, followed by her fellowship training in Maternal Fetal Medicine at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She was an NICHD Women’s Reproductive Health Research Scholar and completed her Master in Clinical Research with Honors at University of Kansas. Her medical research focuses on maternal nutrition, equity in research practice, and epigenomics of preterm birth. She currently practices at University Health in Kansas City, where she lives with her parents, husband, and son. She is also a poet, with a passion for literature and art.
