Debra Providence

Dr Debra Providence was born in St Vincent and the Grenadines and is an educator, writer, and researcher. Her research interests include the fiction and poetry of Caribbean and African American women writers, creative writing, science/speculative fiction, feminist theory, and graphic novels. She currently teaches creative writing (poetry) and Anglophone Caribbean literature at the University of the West Indies at Cave Hill, Barbados.
